Polydextrose is a soluble dietary fiber and prebiotics, white or light yellow powder. It is easy solving in water. Comparing to insoluble dietary fiber, it has more advantages on health care and process. 1. Polydextrose is commonly used as a replacement for sugar, starch and fat. It is also used as in low-carb, sugar-free and diabetic cooking recipes. At the same time, polydextrose is also humectant, stabilizer and thickener.
